Application Process
If you have children currently living at home and are going through a crisis and in need of financial assistance to remain in your home, please read through our application process and submit your assistance application below.
Applicants can generally expect an initial response within three business days and a final decision within approximately one week of submitting a complete application.
More complex situations, language barriers, or requests requiring additional verification may extend the review timeline.

The applicant completes and submits the Firm Foundations assistance application.

A Firm Foundations Board of Directors member reviews each application and provides an initial response within approximately three business days. This response may include requests for additional information, clarification, or a follow-up conversation regarding the family's circumstances.

Firm Foundations conducts appropriate vetting and verification of the applicant's situation, including reviewing supporting documentation and assessing the family's needs and available resources.

Based on the review and verification process, the Board of Directors determines whether assistance can be provided and, if so, the amount of assistance to be awarded.

All applicants are notified of the outcome of their application, regardless of whether assistance is approved.
